  • @osamiax33o thanks man, definitly im going to buy this amp. Too many people told me the same. And what about the dimmin lights? It cosumes lots of energy this amp? Thx for the answer

  • @titone14 Yea, it does lol. Most 1500 watt + amps require the big 3, and I have a stinger SP1700 battery. This is kind of an old vid, i have new subs, 1000RMS and some new electrical work done, I have a build log up.. It shows the most recent progress. I'm waiting for an amp in the mail then i'lll make a video of my new setup. Message me if u want a link to the build log.

  • Dude will you recommend the DTR 1700?? Because im planning to buy one to power 2 Kicker L7's 750rms each. Thx and nice vid!!!!

  • @titone14 I LOVE the DTR.. It puts out it's full 1700RMS without clipping, It stays cool, and the efficiency is pretty good for an amp that price... I would recommend it for sure.

  • nice system man !check out my pioneer setup !!!

  • fair enough, my g5 is baseline has a 2.2L, everything is basic i would be impressed if it had a 80 amp alternator, it has a 50amp inline fuse from the alt to the batt :S

  • @ILLTOWN420 I don't want to say i know for sure, cause the 2LT like mine has an upgraded soundsystem stock, as well as power doors/windows/locks, it has a sunroof, heated seats, XM, bluetooth etc.. etc... So it might have a larger alternator than other trims of the cobalt, mine is 140 amps. others might be lower.

  • @osamiax33o thanks dude your better then google! u know off hand what amp alternator comes stock in our car with a/c? I eventually wanna upgrage my alternator to a 270amp with another battery with a MLA 15V module. my #1 goal is to only have 1 run of 0g from front to back, gonna leave the stock run of 4g from front to back to avoid factory complication, thx again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ILLTOWN420 It's on the front of the block, u'll see it's just a bolt with a black ground wire running from it. It goes to the frame and it's actually grounded under the headlight. If you can't find it msg me and i'll send u a link to pics.

  • hey quick question buddy, where is the engine ground located??? is it easy to find???
