The wealth generated by Singapore's much-touted economic success story has not benefited everyone, least of all its senior citizens, a.k.a. the nation builders. Filmed on the streets and back-alleys of downtown Singapore in July 2007, this video does not contain any enactments or acting. Directed, shot and edited by Martyn See

  • Every country has rich and poor people, but no country has the highest paid ministers in world (the SG ministers are the highest paid in the world by the way) saying crap like "There are no poor in Singapore" or asking to be shown where the poor are in Singapore.

For all who need an explanation why Singapore's economic success is false, google search for the article "Singapore from 3rd world to 1st world to LOST world". The so-called success is only for the elites, while we all suffer!

  • Good short movie. This short movie deserve something in cannes.
