  • What an energy!!! Thanks for posting!

Kialen055 Where is that nice version of Dirty Pool! I think it was you that posted it before?

  • Owner of the Texas Tornado Jam 1981 and the South Texas Tornado Jam Videos 1981 sent me rude message saying I was trying to profit etc from HIS video.

I told this guy to go pound sand and saying he owns anythign that is SRV is comical at best. Youtube eventually made me take it down due to copyright stuff. Some people can't let go of the 80's.:)

  • What is the point of removing them jrichie66. Nobody cares except you we do this stuff because we love the music. We are not making a profit and I have personally spent years sharing my videos with people for free. You can not stop people from sharing content I can easily burn this on DvD and send them to people like always. We would you want to keep a few videos from ever being seen on youtube? Because you put together a show which Stevie happened to grace your stage with. Lame

  • Turned 43 today. Treated myself to this video. Picked up a guitar for the first time 31 years ago today. The callouses that thing has left on my fingers and heart have somehow improved my hearing. When I listen to Stevie play TPA, more than any other song or performer, I know I am hearing echos from the absolute depth of human emotion. Haunting. Almost frightening. There will never be another Stevie, and will never hear these sounds again.

    ...And that still hurts.

  • Oh my God!!1That is sick! This is by far the best I've ever seen from SRV. Simply amazing!!

  • Simply the best

  • No doubt, this was SRV at his absolute best. High or not, he was on, on, on. I am not able to predict the future, though I can say with certainty that there will never EVER be another SRV. There will be imitators, but none can fill those humble, incredible shoes that he wore. He was a true virtuoso.

I recall the very moment in time, in vivid detail, when I heard that he lost his life. I sat in dumbfounded dismay and wept for some time. RIP SRV.

  • Masterpiece!!!

  • Never saw this one.Absolutely spelbound!I can play some of this, but never will come close to sounding like this genius!Damn it!

  • That voice at 1:32 is haunting......to think that he was shy about his singing for a long time.......Man I miss him. The connection was so strong.....someone that played like I felt. RIP
