Paul McCartney being interviewed Chris Evans in 1997 to promote his album "Flaming Pie". British celebrities send in questions to be asked to Paul, some are incredibly funny (Shaun Ryder, George Best, Frank Carson etc.) Poor quality to begin with but correct at about 1 minute in.

He also performed 2 songs live on the show, these are available elsewhere on YouTube. Ringo was interviewed by Chris a year later, but I'm still looking for the video in my collection.

  • WTF is with the dig at George? Paul gets pretty upset...

  • Chants of India is insanely good. I'm glad Paul knows it.

  • pauls like a rich woman lennons right he is a cunt a very very very rich 1

  • I've never seen this before - thanks for posting this! It's a cute interview.

  • I love how he said "I love you all" instead of "I love you both" - including John here, are we? :P

  • Oasis are shit and just ripped off everything from the beatles and t-rex and whatever else. Nirvana did a fair bit of ripping off too tho, but at least that Cobain fella had some serious talent. It would been so interesting to hear Paul work with Nirvana. But Cobain didn't like him so it never would have happened.
