@LT1HILLINGHOE I enjoy SRV more than Hendrix. But they're two completely different artists with different approaches to similar styles. SRV had a jazzy feel to his Texas blues style. Hendrix was more traditional in his blues style, but adding some psychedelic-era feel to it, plus he was a much more "jam"-friendly artist. Hendrix was also a better lyricist, as I feel SRV did a lot of old song interpretations, more than Jimi. SRV was just more technical and diverse, Hendrix was more innovative.

Hey, Its ok, Its confusing and Voodoo Child (Slight Return) seems to have become the offical name on CDs etc but your right it is the music.

@capetown99 Well, that should be the end of the discussion then! I'll change the title when I find it worthwhile. It's the music that counts anyway! :) Thanks for your comment!

Its correct title is Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). Hendrixs 1968 handwriten notes (you can see on Google) have it as Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). I have an old copy of Electric Ladyland and it is printed as Chile and not Child.
The long blues jam is called Voodoo Chile.
The title Voodoo Child only appeared recently. Its the wrong title.
But great version anyway.

Great performance bro's!

Great job. This sounded better than Hendrix but not as good as SRV. But SRV is the best ever.
