  • Playful?? Playful???!!! Did you read the poem?

  • This poem is not playful at all. The mirror is a burden on the woman's life, telling lies and placing itself within godly status. She struggles with finding her identity and fights with the fact that she faces judgement everywhere, not just in front of the mirror. Some interpret that the woman is Sylvia herself, and she turns from the lake to the liars, moon and candles, romance, to resonate on her past experience through divorce and marital struggles.

  • silly

  • This poem is absolutely not playful...

  • @CocoLimonStar Well, at least it explains the smell.

  • like a terrible fish... lol... but not funny i know

  • That was about as pointless an exercise as you could make, randomly chucking together a pair of disparate elements that aren't even your own. Go play in a sandbox.

  • What song is that?
