Just goto the ranch as a kid then bud, pull out your Ocarina Of Time in front of her and she should give you it then.
As far as I'm aware there's nothing you can't get as a kid once you become an adult because you just go back to the temple of time and shove your sword back into the rock and everything goes back to the way it was.
@DEIVION212 Sorry, I typed it incorrectly. You have to learn Epona's Song while your a child, then go to the ranch as an adult & play the song via Ocarina. Unfortunately, I'm already an adult, and I don't know the song, so I'm pretty screwed. :(
As for the Epona thing though, I think someone's mislead you bud because you can't get her as a child, you have to wait until you're an adult. You goto the ranch and beat every side missions that's throw at you, then once you get locked in the ranch with Epona, you make her rush to the small fence/wall and you escape.
Yeah starting from the same place was a pain, but I was lucky that whenever I played it I done it in long sessions and I was therefore able to beat the child section in like 2 sittings. And once you get the teleports with the Ocarina then it's not as bad.
As for the lock on, I never use it it's that shit, however I don't class it as a flaw as you can easily beat the game without it, but I also can't see why it was added because of how bad it is.
@nerftendo005 Yes, I know, it sounds outrageous that I would actually enjoy a game as easy as TP, but somehow, I liked it anyway. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it was the first Zelda I've played, or the fact that it was so huge (but with quick transportation), I dunno. Like I said, people often like games more/less due to personal reasons.
I like OoT, but there are aspects that I don't like, which I already explained.
@DEIVION212 I agree that it's harder, but I hate certain things about it. For one, I hate having to start at the house every time I boot the game up. Second, the lock-on was broken (or at least in the VC version). Third, I hate that, if you don't get Epona as a child, then as soon as you become an adult, it's too late to get Epona. So, for the 1st & 3rd reasons I mentioned, you'll spend a lot of time wandering around aimlessly.
I enjoyed TP, although it was REALLY easy (especially the bosses).
Righto, just as I say wanted to make sure (Because when it's a 1 letter difference it's easy to do a typo) so if that's the same, then the SNES version is better IMO.
No probs, I hope it helps you enjoy it more :)

I'm not even going to bother with Skyward Sword.

@nerftendo005 So really, I'm not sure which one I like better, because I think they're equally flawed.
