"In My Life" is a song by The Beatles written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The song originated with Lennon, and while McCartney contributed to the final version, the extent of his contribution is in dispute. Released on the 1965 album Rubber Soul, it is ranked 23rd on the Rolling Stone article "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time", and placed second on CBC's 50 Tracks. Mojo magazine named it the best song of all time in 2000.

As a Beatles fan I used to think its impossible to select a fav' song out their incredible list of hits.As I myself move into"older age" this song seems to grow in meaning and beauty to me.It truly is a bittersweet song to listen to and to watch on this great video. Sweet to see the montage of the Beatles- yes, some are dead and some are living and I know I'll often stop and think about them so they will always live in our hearts. As for the bitter, well of course we sure miss John and George.
