  • This video course is so helpful to my PLC class. Thank you Ron for developing this useful course. I will never hesitate to recommend it to PLC students.

  • @smartboy451 I'm glad that you found the material helpful ... thank you for your comment ... Ron

  • YouTube and Mr. Beaufort are a God-send; am studying to be an electro-mechanics student and this is so invaluable; am at my last module dealing with PLCs; this is so helpful.

  • @amartinjoe Greetings amartinjoe. I'm quite certain that God has sent you far greater blessings than these - but I feel privileged to have been helpful in any way. Thank you for your comment I sincerely appreciate the thought. Ron

  • Nice job Ron! You are right. Nobody seems to cover in detail how a processor scans and how the "green" can be misleading.

  • Thank you, automationnc. As you said, the critical skills that you mentioned aren't being covered in many training courses - so even technicians and programmers who have reached the beyond beginner stage are still confused by some of these issues. We hope that this new series will be helpful to anyone who needs to improve their PLC troubleshooting and debugging abilities. We appreciate your comment. Ron

  • Wow ! I am impressed at how Ron explained the basics of PLCs in this 10 part series. I watched them all and now have a much better understanding of how PLC's work. I am considering learning PLC Programming and have a back ground in Basic, Fortran, Assembly and other programming learned in the 70's. However this old information is still useful in understand how computers program and how PLC's work.. Get series, I may attend future AB Classes after watching this. Geno B, Sacramento, CA

  • @RonBeaufort why, you're mighty modest sir; I'm nearly done with my Electro-Mechanics course and the last module deals with the basics of PLCs; I tell you, the way the course material is written can be confusing; but your vids certainly cleared things up; you don't know how many times I slapped my forehead and said "Oh that's how it works!!"

Once I'm done with my EM course, I'm hoping to jump into the 19 Module PLC course; If I was in Charleston, SC, I'd sign up for your course in a second.

  • and good to see you too Archie!

  • I indeed appreciate your broadcasting initiative on in depth tutorial on the key automation technology.

Keep up the good work. All the best!
