Two teens were rescued from the rapids of Cazenovia Creek after their canoe flipped in rising waters Sunday.
The West Seneca water rescue crew found the pair stranded on a rock in the creek near the intersection of Seneca Street and Harlem Road, according to a West Seneca emergency dispatcher.
The rescue occurred at about 7:10 p. m. One of the canoeists was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of hypothermia. The other declined treatment.
