you have to install this on your computer then if it gets stolen you track it on a different computer ?

@dirtjumper7077 yes but does not work if they format the hdd and reinstall a OS u just got to hope the thief is not that smart. most thieves are not that smart.... but their is a more secure program where it doesn't matter if their HDD gets reformatted its by lowjack but its not free tho

This does not work if you format the hdd and reinstall OS over. What they need to do is to have a chip that is solder to the motherboard and it is dedicated to shoot gps signal coordinate when ever they are online.
