Hand built by me out of polished Aluminum and Brass Plate. Electronics are based on the TubeHobby Kit with the Urbach Z566M tube board grafted onto it. See this and all my clocks at http://www.badnixie.com.

  • How do I get one of these beauties, I collect alot of Art Deco clocks. Thanks

  • @decodan908 Hi, I can build one for you. That's where this one came from. Send me your email address for details.

  • I really like the look of this clock, though I can see that the INS-1 tube in the front is flickering, just like the ones I used on one of my clocks.

I tried running one with a 1 megohm resistor and it lasted several weeks before it started flickering.

  • Thanks for the kudos. You're right about the INS-1 flickering here, this was right after initial assembly. I have since changed the current limiting resistor so that the current to the INS-1 is right on .5ma spec. Has been running now about 6 weeks and no more flicker!
