As a new mom you have to consider sanitary products as well! I'm suprised it isn't mentioned!
You WILL bleed A LOT for the first few days after natural child birth (think adult diapers - gross but true) and after that, propaply until around 8 weeks postpartum, you will need regular sanitary pads!
And painkillers that are safe to use when breastfeeding, if relevant.
