  • Nice setup!!! Heres a suggestion... Have you ever considered using Haze? Instead of Fog??

  • Nope. Why? Because this is the 3rd, maybe 4th gig all year that I've been able to use fog. Hazers are considerably more expensive than my fog machines, and therefore don't make very good cost to use sense. I think hazers are a great product, and would love to have one, but unless I all of a sudden start being able to use them 20 or 30 gigs a year, it just doesn't make sense to buy one. Thanks for the question. :)

  • Well, with a hazer, its MUCH MUCH less likely to set-off a Fire Alarm, because its particles are much smaller than a fog machine's. And also, it doesnt reduce visibility, and theres no big cloud of smoke! Which I really like. Anywayy.. What speakers do you use??

  • You're right there is a lot of upside to hazers, but most clients (and newer reception halls) would rather not have the effect. For speakers I use the JBL JRX125's for the tops, and the JBL JRX118S passive subs.

  • wow thats amazing, i knew there was a big business in photo booths, but i assume its not something that people book too often. might be good for corporate events too, i wonder what program they used, if it was just a camera and a laptop!? did he stay there with the booth, for that price i'd stay at the gig to make sure it was working good

  • The couple hired a budget photographer to take pictures of the wedding itself, but decided to go this route for the reception due to price, and just the fact that it was a lot of fun for everyone. They figured that it would be mostly kids using it, but it was actually the adults that were gathered around it most of the night until they left. They actually ended up staying an hour and a half later than they were supposed to due to the demand for pictures...
