The video starts off on East bound on Independence St. Then a left turn on Kingshighway (yes all one word) heading north. Then a right turn heading East on Broadway ending at Capaha park.

I was born and raised in Cape Girardeau and am thankful everyday I do not live there.

Interesting to see how little the place has changed. I went a couple of semesters at SEMO over twenty years ago, finally couldn't stand the narrow minded locals any more (nor the fact that everyone works for the Drury family and loves being a serf), left, finished my BA at UMAss, saw the world, and now live much better than any non-Drury could in that area. Best view of MO was in my rear-view mirror...

Unlike some here I could not speak ill of Cape Girardeau, this city is part of my childhood, my past. I went to the Alma Schrader school, I had a grandfather who passed away about two months before this video was made that was a doctor and one of the founders of the show Ask Your Doctor. I have family ties to Cape Girardeau and fond memories of the time I lived there while my mother was finishing college.
