no i got one in my 24 gallon and he is doing fine you just got to get the population of crustaceans up before putting them in

!00g for one is the norm.. But if you can have them eat frozen mysis or plankton then they will survive. I had one in a 50g and it ate mysis and it had it pods as I had a seperate tank for copads and other things to live and grow.

how big is the tank? i was told you need at least 180 gallons to host those guys since they feed almost solely on the little organisms in the live rock and a tank under 180 can only support one.
