POLICE STATE 2009 The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child

The leadership of our Congress has vowed to sign a treaty to pass the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. If they succeed, all of the state specific legislation that protects the rights of parents to control the upbringing and education of their children will be overridden by whatever a committee of UN bureaucrats thinks is appropriate. The consequences are severe, from outlawing of homeschooling, to mandatory sex education and much more. Please watch this video and pass it along to others. We are still in time to stop this treaty.

@christo930 I don't see how this is exploiting children. This is their future, it is a future where their parents might not have so much of a say in how they are brought up, it concerns them greatly. They should be aware, & don't kid yourself, kids of today know a lot more about issues going on around them then we did when we were growing up (internet). Now using children like the UN is trying to do in order to grab more power for itself is disgusting. There was nothing wrong with this vid

I'm sure its a tactic the UN (or others) wouldn't hesitate to use.

I don't care for the tactic myself, but some folks respond positively to this kind of message.

Don't be so hung up on the tactic so much as the content.

And that message is that American parents don't need an international treaty to properly raise their children. Its an insult!

Honest money is a long, long way away. They are going to keep the us dollar reserve standard around long enough to switch to a new fiat currency which will save the day. It would take a truly catastrophic event to bring back honest money, something nobody wants to live (or die) through. With the manufacturing power and sheer size of the Chinese economy and it's even larger potential, expect the Yuan to play a big role in whatever gets put forward.

Its already a currency crisis and has been since 1971 when Nixon because he got caught counterfeiting money ended gold backing of the US dollar.

There has to be sound money or there is no hope.

You can't feed yourself if the currency hyper-inflates.

I really don't see how the federal government can keep going much longer. They are borrowing larger and larger portions of the budget and the federal debt is getting so high that just servicing the interest on it is going to be difficult. I think we are going to be facing a major budget crisis which will turn into a currency crisis fairly soon.
