Luis Perico Ortiz (trading trumpet solos)

Luis Perico Ortiz, Puerto Rican trumpet superstar, performing at Fiestas Patronales in Pembroke Pines, Florida Nov 17, 2007.

He was trading solos with two other phenomenal trumpeters. Sorry about the poor camera focus. Perico is so amazing. I have many of his records from the 70's through the 90's and each and every one of his solos is so sweet and tasty.

I would love to hear him in a small intimate jazz club where he could really stretch out.
