    Customer Reviews:

If you are familiar with the now legendary Monster series, the new model SNM 035 diver is the next chapter in Seiko's evolution. Having offered for decades many rugged choices to those looking for a quality automatic dive watch, Seiko introduces what is certainly it's grandest model yet. This is the largest and heaviest of any dive watch ...

  • What kind of old shit Seiko is that? All Seiko divers currently on the market are at least 660ft water proof, and they're cheap.

  • @TheStig000 im gonna try find a sarb035,here in asia,im impressed with the stark simplicity, and quality of build.try looking at tissot too,ya get swiss movement hack, wind,as well as top design, tissot is a great value play.ive always been a seiko guy,but tissot is a new love as well.

  • @dempsey981 I love the SARB035, but I've never actually seen one in person. But out of the whole SARB line, that's the one I would buy. Looks so close to a Grand Seiko but at a more reasonable price.

  • @TheStig000 The Grand Seiko is a most interesting desirable watch, but more than i want to spend, i saw one in ASIA,at around $8k.Its a masterpiece for sure.Btw,ive tuned my ETA very carefully by scope, its capable of nearly perfect time[plus 1 sec max,not per day, thats total variance].they are not joke movements if tweeked hard.mechanicals are fascinating,do you like the SARBO35?

  • @dempsey981 No, Grand Seiko does not use the 6r series. Those are in the mid range Seikos. Grand Seikos use hi beat movements that put the Swiss to shame. In the 1960's Grand Seiko movements ran at 36,000 bph. Also, Grand Seiko movements aren't simply tuned by hand, but completely built by hand. ETA is worse than either Rolex or Seiko movements.

  • @TheStig000 i think i know a little bit about Seikos,as i have owned many many over the years, and i think they are well made.am i correct the Grand is using the 6r series move.right?thats the top machine seiko makes is that correct?ok.that move runs at about 21,800/hr.or 6b/sec.right?the swiss movements are running at 28,800,and with ETA the top strata are hand tuned by smiths not robots.beat speed corrolates to accuracy, but both are fine movements.i like ETA,not rolex, over any seiko.

  • @dempsey981 There are only 4000-5000 Grand Seikos produced per year. Rolex makes somewhere around one million units. Grand Seikos are all hand built by expert watch makers. Rolex are mass produced by robots.

  • @dempsey981 I hope you're aware that some watches that Seiko produces go under more stringent testing than COSC testing that the Swiss watches undergo. Anyone that knows even a little bit about Seiko will tell you that Grand Seiko is a better built watch than Rolex.
