I had a compilation album in the 70's it had this song, Running Bear, Simon Says, Yummy Yummy, King Tut etc. it had a cat on front with a guitar. Does anyone remember this or the name? I've been looking for it.

I tried to give you some internet vinyl sites but Youtube wouldn't allow it. Search on the internet for ols record albums and you may come across a dealer that knows.

Absolutely loved this song. So much better than the crap my son listens to today. But I have a stupid question. Is the guy singing this song the original singer, Mark, I believe his name was. So hard to tell, it's been a long time. Thank you.

The guy singing is the only original member now with the band, Frank Jeckell. The original drummer, Floyd Marcus in the back is no longer with the band.

    Thanks for the quick response.

If you look at a 1968 video of '1-2-3 red light', you'll see the original (I think) 1910 Fruitgum band. There are 5 members, with 2 guitarists: the base player on the extreme right of the video, and the other guitarist in the middle with the very dark hair. Is this Frank Jeckell? If so, it does not look the Frank Jeckell in the 2007 video. Can you comment on this?

One more thing: is that you playing the drums?

Hello Floyd, can you tell me what instrument Frank Jeckell played in the original band?

In original Youtube videos from 1968, Mark Gutkowski played organ and sang. in this video (2007), who is the guy with the mustache and playing the tambourine? BTW, I loved your drum playing.
