  • I got the idea from listening to remixes where the DJ smoothly transitions from one song to the other before the listener is aware of it. However, in this video, the sound system kept cutting out. (Please see my other versions).

Can anyone name the different Van Halen songs I am playing?

  • A montage is the technique of combining in a single composition elements from various sources, as parts of different compositions, either to give the illusion that the elements belonged together originally or to allow each element to retain its separate identity as a means of adding interest or meaning to the composition.

  • Thank you for the comment (I had to remove it b/c of the offensive statement about a farm animal). As for looking at the fretboard, I was in front of a couple hundred of my peers. Pretty nervous time for a youngster, eh? Next time, I'll just stare at the gal in the denim jacket. Rock on!

  • didn't you read the 50 most noobishest things done in Guitar Player magazine? It's like number 39 or sumthin, "Wearing bowling T-Shirts emblazoned with dragons and fire" lol...

  • Thanks; I really do appreciate it, since you're only the second person to compliment me haha.

  • speaking of good stuff, i checked out your channel, nice guitar play :) i subscribed

  • haha Good stuff; For me, it's not the measure of how fast you can play the arpeggio, it's not a matter of how fast you can tap, it's a matter of how much soul you have, how well you write, and how good of a stage presence you have :)

Hendrix and SRV are my idols :)

  • Man, me too... He's in my top 3 greatest guitarists of all time.

  • I know; I was kidding :-P

It's funny how SRV isn't exactly the fastest, or the best [Well, in other's eyes] But I see him as godly amazing. He created some of the most amazing blues riffs ever.

  • The point was... SRV hardly EVER looked at his guitar when playing... watch Austin City Limits.

  • How many Stevie Ray Vaughns do you know? >.>

  • You rock kid!! All the way to Jersey!

  • SRV? Which SRV are you talking about?
