This is just a video of simple walk, trot and canter transitions in both directions. My line handling needs a little work, but it's all a learning process. I am using a little pressure to get Tam to extend his walk (not that successful, but we're working on it), a little more impulsion in the trot and also to maintain his canter. You'll see some tail swishing...yes, he's getting a bit annoyed. My pressure disrupts the harmony of his movement, so I am trying to learn to be smoother in my movements and use of the whip so his response is smoother as well (and hopefully less annoyed with me). We're both learning as we go.

All our lunge work is on the cordeo, shaping (hopefully) self carriage and balance as we go along.
