The song was premiered on the 5th of May 1949 at Lycée français in the Bab al-Luq neighbourhood of Cairo. The second time she performed it was on 6th of April, 1950 at the same location. King Faruq was present in the audience.
The third and final time Nahg al-burda was performed was on September 15, 1955 at the Cinema Dimashq in Damascus.

The name of the song is (Nahj al burda ), a song in praise of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him
