More info: http://bit.ly/945mqb In 2006 SEIU Vice President Eliseo Medina spoke at the Social Economic Justice Conference where he made the following statement,
"To win even more victories, we're gonna need to continue to generate the energy and the activism - so we can strike on an even larger scale. A scale big enough to help us win, issues such as health care and immigration reform. To build the power to win, we need to massively increase civic participation and voter education. Imagine... Imagine the kind of difference we could make in 2008 if we had 2 million voters go to the polls with us. Imagine... if we had 2 million new and current citizens who not only will register to vote in 2008 but actually turn out on election day. What a powerful message that would be to politicians. It would really help us to hold them accountable. Because we would send a very simple message saying, "there will be no more free rides... If you won't vote for us, we damn sure aren't going to vote for you. Get another job!"

yes! All people coming from corrupt countries will embrace the corruption here by only voting for a certain party...and not an idea or philosophy...but will vote how they are told by a union! YAAAYYY!! THAT MEANS INDEPENDENCE AND A REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY!!
