On location in Alaska, Ty Van Burger manages to pull a Salmon right out of the stream before the fish realizes its been caught. Talk about smooth!

  • ive caught a chrome coho salmon nice female hatchery fish with my hands :P

  • reminds me of steelhead when the steam is high, they just chill right on the side cause they got tired from going upsteam. i would kick them and they wouldn't budge Ha

  • i caught a salmon about 3 times that big with my bare hands once

  • I really caught a live healthy trout , brown trout, by hand on a stream in iowa, in about a foot of water. it was only about 15inches and maybe 2lbsish

  • they ain't gotta be spent males to do this they get so packed in places that it's easy to grab them it's just hard to get the healthy ones out of the water

  • Everybody, don't mind the fact that it is a spent male or a spent pacific female, just enjoy how it looked and being able to tell a person that you caught a salmon with your bare hands. I find it still cool that you caught one. 5/5 from me. Deserve it.
