  • thing is, it's not a fair match, they are 10 years apart, Federer is still in his primes while Pete is getting much too old to play competitive tennis, but if he wins this one, people will really think he was the best ever.

  • 7-6(8), 6-4, Sampras, Macao, November 24, 2007.

  • and they got how much for that game?

  • federer played better as a junior than now in Macau,be realistic, I love pete but, c"mon

  • What are you saying usc1chop? This video shows their match back in 2001 at Wimbledon. For me, Federer is still the best.

  • i saw this match in korea and i can tell you they both played their butt off. Pete has not played for 5yrs and aftter watching this match i am more convinced than ever that sampras is best.

  • i hate these misleading titles of video's.. just sad man...

  • both are the best.............

  • I was distraught in 2001, but am now a huge federer fan.

The one handed backhand is a beautiful thing!!

  • I think you guys are taking Sampras, and the level of tennis we will see in these exhibition matches to lightly.

  • Yeah, or else Pete will probably break his back. A 36 year old retired professional can't possibly take the 26 year old chasing the GOAT title if they both played seriously, even if it is Sampras. I mean, didn't he just come back to the sport a year ago? I'm afraid people really do use this as evidence towards Federer being better than Sampras, because the age difference is too much, and it's worse than before because Federer is around his peak.
