Macho Pilot lands on NYC beach (JFK Tower Audio)

***note- I cut out some of the time between transmissions to shorten the length of the video. I posted this video for pilots to learn from his mistake. DON'T SOUND LIKE THIS GUY!

Heres an example of a MACHO pilot. Macho attitude is when a person thinks they are better than everyone else and takes unnecessary risks. Macho is a hazardous attitude described during student pilot training. Pilots are trained to detect and prevent macho attitude by using the antidote: "Taking Chances is Foolish."

This guy probably won't keep his pilot certificate for much longer after the FAA investigation is complete. Completely unprofessional and gives general aviation a bad name.

This was NOT an emergency....simply a display of "Hey guys...Watch this!"

I bet the owner of the craft is not too happy. That will be am expensive project getting that out of the sand and cleaning.  Perhaps making some repairs even. He sounded like an arrogant drunk. Probably had a chick he was trying to impress with him.

@traffety Exactly SO! He has a guy and a girl in the cabin with him. Im sure it was a classic..."Hey guys look what I can do!' Check out the description of the video. It links to a NY Times article. Apparently he saw this kinda stuff happen all the time on the tv show "Flying Wild Alaska"
