Phase One medium format camera - http://www.phaseone.com/645DF
Phase One IQ series digital backs - http://www.phaseone.com/IQ

Watch pro photographer Peter Eastway introducing the Phase One 645DF medium format camera system.

Phase one's medium format camera is incredibly versatile and with its many features it's suitable for all kinds of photography: landscape, wildlife, portraiture, studio, architecture, and travel. Ad in the largest sensors with the greatest dynamic range and you have an incredible camera system.

The Phase One 645DF medium format camera is well balanced, sits comfortably in the hand, and is great for hand-held photography. If you haven't used medium format before, wait to you put your eye to the viewfinder. The large image is startling with its brightness and detail.

All the controls fall naturally under the thumb and forefinger and unlike old medium format cameras, the 645DF has all the modern conveniences you'd expect: automatic exposure automatic focus and manual override.

The camera offers automatic and manual exposure modes and there's exposure compensation and exposure bracketing as well. The thumb and forefinger allow you to quickly adjust the settings and there's a LCD screen read out on the top and in the viewfinder. The viewfinder has a diopter adjustment and a blind. There's the focus lock button on the front and an infrared light to assist the autofocus system in low light.

Around the shutter release button is the on/off switch and you can set single, or continuous advanced, and mirror lock-up. This is really useful for maximizing medium format's quality.

On the other side of the camera you can set single-shot, continuous, or manual focus and there's an extensive range of interchangeable lenses: Phase One digital focal plane lenses, Schneider-Kreuznach leaf shutter lenses, and Mamiya 645 AFD lenses. Compatible with Hasselblad V lenses.

If you haven't tried medium format photography before you're in for a real treat but be warned, it is addictive!
