  • niice vid but if ur worried you will burn it, use a hair dryer on high heat. it works good but not as fast

  • lol yeah but what if you are in the feild without power?

  • heat guns and blow dryers work too. heat guns, like a lighter can burn the vane. blow dryers take a little longer but works the best, IMO

  • true but I never can get the heat gun to work when I'm in the feild for some reason ;)

  • HAHAHAHAH I did just wanted to show you what not to do lol

  • Boiling HOT water will do the same thing. Dip the fletch in till straight then run cold water on them right away and they will set.

  • thanks for all the tips man, just found your channel. using some of your tips on my DIY pvc bow.

  • @grttaxi use a battery drive one :-) lighter works awesome

  • Hey Kenny, You ain't got nothing to worry about. Most folks will still get them re-fletched and spend that money. Thanks for burning that last one so we all don't feel bad when we do it to....lol

  • Most plastic does this. :D Think it has to do with tension in the polymer, and the freedom applied my a light melt. Contracts to a "minimum", and the curves force themselves out. S'my best guess.

  • This works great, and the reason why the good old boy' or grass roots system for sportsmen is still best. No one else would share this, they have nothing to gain from it.

  • Just fred it with my zippo and it worked very well. Thanks so much for the tip!!!

  • If I hand a bow without a D-loop, how do i find the nok point to put a D-loop on.???????

  • this is a dumb question but whats the best way to take off old fletchings?
