Timber rattlesnakes, unlike some other species, are
surprisingly docile creatures that seldom threaten humans or livestock.
Learn how to distinguish them from non-poisonous snakes and what to do if
you encounter one. Timber rattlers are an important part of the ecosystem,
and MVC conserves their bluffland habitats.

I've dispatched a few crotalus horridus' over the years, protected species be damned...as well as copperheads and moccasins.....when I find them too near my home....
by the way...snakes are venomous, not poisonous...were they poisonous, you couldn't eat them...

poison is absorbed and is not the proper word. Venom is the proper word because it is injected. Great video otherwise

Cool video, I agree I wish more people got this message. They did mess up something else too, they show a Eurasian Badger, you'd think they would know their own state animal!

excellent video. If only more people actually got this message. The only thing wrong is the terminology in the video. The proper term is venomous/non-venomous, not posionous/non-poisonous.
