I really hadn't seen the point in Daleks. I never understood how terrible they were, probably because I've never watched the old series, until this episode.

that episode was the most disappointing episode ever. Had some good ideas in it though but it was executed badly

Actually they can, he mentioned specifically that the Corsair had several female regenerations. It seems a bit odd that with a 50/50 chance every regeneration (assuming those odds) that none of his regenerations has been female.
