Jack/Ianto - THE RETURN OF IANTO JONES! (sequel to Someone's watching over me)

Sequel to someones watching over me.

After Iantos death, Jack was devastated. He found it hard to move on, but Ianto was watching him. With Gwens help he manages to try and move on and live his life without Ianto. After seeing that Jack was able to carry on without him, Ianto stopped watching over him.

Now just three months after his death, a sudden surge of rift activity brings Ianto back to Earth. He is left in the middle of the countryside, confused and lost and unsure what to think. When he finally figures things out, he knows he has to get back to Cardiff and back to Jack.

Meanwhile, back at Torchwood, Jack is being distant and thinking about Ianto. Even after three months he still hasnt completely gotten over Iantos death. Gwen noticed and asked him to just talk to her about it.

Ianto gets into a car and drives back to Cardiff to find Jack and thinks about what he and Jack could have when they are reunited. When he gets there he looks for Jack in the city, but he is sat alone in his office, but Ianto is unable to get inside the hub since he is officially dead.
One night, Jack decides to go to the bar where he and Ianto first met. Ianto also decides to go there hoping to find Jack.
While Jack is there he sees Ianto in the crowd and it makes him think of the last time he saw him, when he was dying in his arms. He tries to shake the memory from his mind but he still sees Ianto there. Ianto is glad to see him, but Jack ignores him thinking that he is just seeing things.
Afterwards he takes a walk and thinks about the embodiment of Ianto that he saw in the bar, unsure whether he was a figment or if he was real.
He stops in a quiet place and cries asking himself why he cant move on and why he keeps being tormented by Iantos memory until he feels a gentle had on his shoulder. He turns around to find Ianto who had followed him. Ianto tries to convince Jack that he is real and that he is back.
Ianto reaches out for Jack but Jack, unable to comprehend it, recoils. Jack doesnt believe that Ianto really is back.
Ianto keeps being persistent and tries to prove to Jack that he really is back. Jack gives him a chance and he asks Ianto how he came back. Ianto tells him he doesnt know exactly how, just that he is back. Jack is still unsure and he walks away to have some time on his own and think about it.
He decides to go and find Ianto and let him back into the hub.
But their relationship is still distant. Jack keeps his distance from Ianto romantically. It upsets Ianto.
But one night Ianto decides enough is enough and he kisses Jack. He wanted to Jack to know that he is there and things can be the same as they were before.
Jack is still full of doubt about it and he tries to push it aside. Ianto finds Jack sitting alone trying to work things out.
After a long hard think by himself he realises that he should be with Ianto. He comes back to Ianto.
Ianto thinks that he will try and change his mind again, but Jack assures him that he wont.
Jack goes out on a mission and Ianto thinks he is trying to run away so he confronts him. But when Jack explains, Ianto just gives him a smile and lets him go. Jack phones Ianto to make sure that he knows where Jack is.
Ianto, worried about Jack because he has been away too long, goes out looking for him. Jack gets kidnapped, but Ianto and Gwen find him and rescue him. Jack and Ianto are reunited and share a kiss. Jack and Ianto are finally back together the way they used to be before Ianto died with Jack being close to Ianto and always saving his life. He proves to Ianto that he really loves him by taking the fall for him whenever he is in danger with the promise to always come back to him. Whenever Jack does risk his life for Ianto, Ianto will always be there for him; to soothe him and to love him.
Even after everything that has happened and after everything they both went through, they manage to stay together knowing that they love each other. Everything goes back to the way it used to be.

I loved the written story and the song. I always love clips from Torchwood, anything that has to do with Jack ... Who he loves, what he thinks, and what he does.
