  • Welcome to the "There is nothing new under the sun" department.

I have an AMI Continental jukebox from 1960. It has stereo sound (called "stereo round" by AMI) using the principle described by Ted Fletcher.

The Continental feeds the sum (left+right) signal to its centre speaker and each of its two side speakers is fed with an enhanced super-stereo signal [eg the right speaker is fed with (1 x right - 0.3 x left) ].

  • Great bit of kit. Ted persomally demonstrated it to me in his office and I bought one 10 minutes later and sent my zeppelin back. No contest in sound quality. T12 rocks.

  • Very Interesting.

I would like to design this into my next project.
