These are official videos from Axiotron about the Modbook - the tablet MacBook.

After many people were dissapointed about the release of the Apple iPad, I decided to upload official videos of a real Mac Tablet.

The Modbook is an approved by Apple to buy MacBooks and convert them into Modbooks. Axiotron is an official "Authorized Apple Reseller."

Axiotron buys a MacBook from Apple that you chose the specs for and then removed the keyboard, trackpad, and display and replaces it all with a stronger tablet display. The display is touched with a pen that comes with the Modbook.

  • do you have to use the pen?

  • @konnysays

    Yes you do.

    Please subscribe!

  • is it pressure sensitive??

  • @LMLNet

    Yes.

  • going to order mine this week, do you know if i can open it up and do my own hard drive upgrade and ram upgrade like i do on my macbook now?

  • @AzGarciaFamily

I do not own a Modbook and I don't really want one.

But since the Modbook is still a MacBook from the middle down, you should be able to remove the battery and everything like you can on a MacBook.

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh could i put windows 8 on this?

  • Its a pressure touch screen. Thats something to dislike about this vid. I would love to use my fingers. You can include the pen for art stuff but still.

  • @LMLNet around five hundred levels

  • Wow, finally a dream-come-true for digital artists using Photoshop, Corel Painter and Manga Studio. I just hope the interface is fast enough to follow the pen's brushstrokes and crosshatching because there seems to be a slight delay ;-)

  • I love it! but as a graphic designer/illustrator .. I can't live without my shortcuts and another monitor for my pallets

looks like a must have though

  • @xoxAshh137

  • @LMLNet
