GS Connect Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Graduate School recently celebrated the official ribbon cutting of their new state-of-the-art GS Connect Production Studio. Having a recording studio on-site sets the Graduate School apart and makes the organization unique among adult continuing education organizations.

The new recording studio is multi-functional. It will allow GS Connect to create new courses and broadcast existing live courses, improving the quality of our audio and video. It will run live productions and gives the ability to create asynchronous courses, as opposed to courses run in fixed time intervals. The studio will also have the capability of processing video, much like a news studio. Staff will be able to work with raw footage, edit and make clips. The studio will also have video conferencing and HD capabilities.

GS Connect staff are very excited to begin using this advanced, cutting edge automation to better serve our customer. This is part of the new, fresh way that the Graduate School makes use of technology to improve upon the already high-quality products that GS Connect produces.
