Another Cine Film I converted for a friend Gary who made it as a boy in the late 1970's. It starts off in Westcliff at the Casino (Brents then?) on Western Esplanade. It then shows Peter Pans Playground with the Ghost Train and Wild Mouse. Next we see the Pier with the Pavillion Bowling Alley and old Green Pier Trains. Next we are at the East side of the Pier with more footage of the minature Railway that circled the boating pool - sadly (criminaly!) filled in during the 1990's for the expansion of Peter Pans. Thanks again to Gary for making these historic Cine films available; All are Gary's copyright.

  • Yep it was recored by Day One, a very local hip-hop crew. Not sure they are together any more though..

  • @organicsouls

Do they have a facebook / myspace page? Did they do anything else I can get hold of?

  • Does anyone know the artist of this song that has sampled the Barbra Streisand song? I recorded it a local pirate station (Dersire FM I think).

  • Dear ConcreteBarge - it's not the Ghosttrain, it's the Jigsaw kiddies ride, a fav still today!!!! My fav part of this was seeing the old boating lake and the train going all around again. Thanks for the memories of good days with my family, esp my nan and granddad.:)
