It was announced at our railfanning group webpage, that a railfan meet would take place at Palmer Lake. Basically, local railfan's come together to catch some trains. Yes even derailedtrain666 showed up. In about 2+ hours, a reasonable 4 trains came thru. And now..
Train 1: We start the day with what sounded like a 4-8-4chugging up the divide! but it wasnt. It was a Dash-9 leading a short Herzog Train NB

Train 3: Derailedtrain666 headed north to scout out another possible train. He spoted a slow moving drag (Pun intended) charging the grade.

Train 4: This was a great surprise for the day! It's been a while since I last seen a unit "Earthworm". The consist was also pretty decent! All while an approching Thunderstorm was moving in.
