I was not able to download some of its Software, Just because my name is an Arab name. When I tried with other Arab names, it did not work and it showed me the "Export Validation Page". When I only changed my name to non Arabic name (John), it smoothly worked fine! I did not change my country or email or any thing.

This is a clear discrimination from big company like Oracle against Arabs.
Oracle products in my country are in big use in the markets. Oracle has branches and offices in Middle East and such behavior can not be justified!

Confirmed! I do get the same results!

It very much looks like a clear indication of name discrimination.

If so, I think this is dispicable if not downright illegal and definitely not civilised!

I will (try) to contact Oracle myself. And I will demand a clarification! If not given I will contact my government for a formal complaint.

I believe islam is great religion and I think you would agree with me if you take enough time reading about it before making hasty judgment (I noticed that from your first reply where you did not read the video description first and also from ur many replies that u post whenever u read more about the agreement).

Discrimination against people is illegal and wrong.

Firstly:

Are you prepared to give me the details of the link so I can verify for myself this accusation is true?

If not, why not?

Secondly:

If this is true, did you contact "Oracle"?

And if so, what was their response?

And if still true, what legal action did you undertake?

And if your accusation is not true, will you rectify?

No answer. I haven't checked in the past 10 months...so I don't know if it is still the same.

Assuming it is still the same (I will check later today...) then:

My, your and anybodies else option is to make it public.

And if you are really determined you may try a civil anti-discrimination court case.

I have to think about it...when the situation is still unchanged.

Note: Any followup action by me will be in the Netherlands, where I live.

I have just send a formal email to Oracle with a link to this youtube video requesting a clarification, a procedural correction or both. The email send is too long to repeat here.

For the moment I will wait and see what the reaction will be...

Referring to the agreeement on black listed names:

It could be a coincidence on this specific name.

But even then!

Guilty by (name) association is a crude, rude and indefensible policy, if not still very much illegal!

One possible reason (excuse!) might be the following:

You are not listed on the United States Department of Treasury lists of Specially Designated Nationals, Specially Designated Terrorists, and Specially Designated Narcotic Traffickers, nor are you listed on the United States Department of Commerce Table of Denial Orders.
