I agree, I was once in a Christian like Cult and a Nationalist movement and you'd be amazed how similar they are in terms of controlling the Group, developing a Hive Mind, they stamp out doubt, the Christians I met tried to turn me against my Parents, that's when I woke up as they violated a Commandment.

People who are stressed or tramatized are more vulnerable to brainwashing. Sadly it's that simple.

Cults always show up after bad this happen. The simple reason for this is because people are more receptive to cult indoctrination if they are stresed or tramatised.
The LDS church does the same thing.
