@mikeroephonics Not how advertising works. You will watch, or get an adblocker.

He did it out of self-interest, but he always had everybody in mind. That's why he is such a genius.
-
who's the asshole who disliked?!

I'd just like to point out that *trying* to get a full education is still something that improves a person whether they can succeed in some areas or not. Still, I totally agree - look at Einstein's background.

Carlin was a great writer!!!

@Lexadrik actually not exactly, pretty sure when youtube was independent (BEFOR googlebought them) there were NO ads at all. only where ads belong on the side...
-
@mikeroephonics then you'd have to pay to watch videos like HULU
-
@MutsuKazuma All the more reason why NOT to turn down education...
-
@jonsabbagh92 education makes you smart, by using your brain your IQ can be raised, get some facts and knowledge before claiming false stuff like that

Please shut up. We're listening to George Carlin
I wish there was an option on YouTube videos where when it loads the commercial, it asks you if you give a shit about that product or service. If no, the video loads and you don't have to watch a commercial about some shitty, overpriced crap that will either break too soon or not be as good as you expected. I literally could not care less if Marie Osmond got off her fat ass and lost 100lbs.

I know what he means but I'm more and more sure that accomplishments at school do not prove you are necessarily smart, intelligent and creative, just as quitting it at 9th grade does not prove the opposite. George Carlin is the evidence for this.
