the book was pure poetry
the english was posh and the story line is absolutely brilliant

I've read and I'm from Puerto Rico so I read the Spanish version but I would like to read it in English someday. I love Carlos Ruiz Zafón, he is one of my favorite authors. It's good to know that people that read him exist and not only in Europe. haha This was a great video, never show weakness to people to watch your videos or for anything! i read the book almost a year and a half ago, and since then i've read more than 10 books, not even one of the is as good as the shadow of the wind is.
i think the story is just great, it's touching, it has a little bit of everything and it's extremely well written in my opinion.
i'm mexican so i read the original version, in spanish, and yes, the vocabulary is excellent!
i'm still trying to make my dad read it, but he's as stubborn as he comes lol

Honestly the best book i have EVER read!! It's fantastic!!
Not only is the plot so increadibly complex and so many different storylines weave into each other but also like said the language is fanomanol and so beatiful.
It takes a very talented writer to combine both plot and language so perfectly!!
Truly a fantastic read!

It is a great book, it actually starts in 1945 and ends in 1966 with flashbacks to post civil Spain.

Great vlog....I am reading the Shadow of The Wind right now, as well. IT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS EVER!!! (and i have read many books, and most have sucked)
I am reading it in the Hungarian version, beacuse i got it sent for me as a Christmas present by grandma in Hungary...and yes in hungarian as well, the vocab is amazing..thats all i've got to add to that
