well, it's actually shotokan-karate. Just have a look at the bad guy with the chin-beard. It's Naka-Sensei from the shotokan honbu-dôjô in tokyo.

I think we both know the opening kata was Sanchin from the Goju system. That said I am also aware that shotokan practices kata from different systems so I stand corrected as I do not know the person of whom you speak. Thank you for the info.

Yeah, shotokan studies nearly all the katas from other systems. There's a real love and passion for katas. I did not know Sanchin was from Goju but if you say it it must be true. Kata is a really special thing to do, you can use it as a fight training but for me, it's an art apart the karaté itself. Very interesting.
