If only charity workers REALLY spoke up - not just asking politicians to be nice but pointing out the grand rip-off they have been conducting on poor and working people even WITH homes, and maybe even putting the whole idea of property-for-profit into question. I'm sure Jesus didn't have any banker or landlord friends...

It's amazing how each of these communities keep trying to shuffle off its problems, in an "out-of-sight, out-of-mind" mentality, onto some neighboring community. I suppose when its "their" turn in the trenches, these elitists will be trading in their Starbucks lattes for the dregs of last night's coffee at a 7-11 and vocally demanding why nothing is being done to provide them shelter. The once hard core Republicans will be turning Democrat, wondering about "their" entitlements.
