Made from a microwave oven transformer. Uses 240v mains electricity.

Pls be careful if you decide to do this - mains electricity will kill you.

I'm looking for a plans to build a demagnetizer to erase 8 track tapes, this degausser can to do these ???

I can see that your degausser use a microwave transformer with cutting the top metal section and using only the primary winding ???

@lklunde Should work. I tried some old memory cards with this thing and it destroyed them beyond repair.

im looking for a simple way to degauss my 13'' tv but this looks to dangerous,, maybe the color will just go back to normal in a few days
