  • Chet once described this as, "One of the most complete little instrumental pieces ever written." ...... I agree!

  • Awesome!...thanks awfully...now, could someone please post "Colonial Ballroom"?

    Thanks again...Tunesmith

  • Chet told Jerry to experiment with some interesting sounds by tuning his "G-string" a half note flat. Jerry misunderstood him and tuned it a full note flat. This is the song Jerry came up with - with that guitar tuning! (BTW: Steeplechase Lane is the street Jerry lived on at the time). This is one of my all-time Jerry Reed songs, and Chet with a little help from Paul Yandell play if perfectly here.

  • Chet looks a bit like George W Bush.

  • @emjaybee63 one of jerrys best i agree

  • Jerry Reed has always been my favorite guitar composer--pure genius...but Chet turned Jerry's pieces into pure Gold...Jack Baker NYC

  • Ah yeah, it doesn't get any better...Jack Baker NYC
