I never thought about it that way..... Well, I also don't like Amelle, but you must not forget that she was only 21 when she joined. I'm pretty sure she was really kind of shy and modest at the beginning. But she gained alot self-assurance and acknowledgement because of the succes of the sugababes, so I guess that lifted her alot and kind of spoiled her as well.

looking back at what amelle used to look like and act shy and that I think she played them and then over the years slowly unleashing her true side.
trouble with the police and pics of her in taxi with no knickers on she comes accross different now in interviews.
