My contribution for Halloween.
I wanted to get as close as possible (same key, same length etc...) to original theme written by none other than John Carpenter himself.
The beat in the background is a kick drum with added reverb.
I used free audio editing program Reaper to record guitars while I was simultaneously filming it. Then I imported video and audio into Sony Vegas pro 8.0 and sync it. Vegas will also let you play with picture in picture and multiple screens.
cool job! Like the playing AND the videography. I have been using Vegas movie studio and rendering in wma I will have to try mp4 thanks for the tip!

No problem.
I was watching some of your videos and you don't seem to have that much lag, but I just couldn't get around the lag when rendered in wma. MP4 works great for me.
Great voice by the way.,

No, it will be HQ. HD needs at least 1280x720, but with Vegas you can render it in HD. It won't be as crisp but it will give you yotube video little HD icon in the bottom right corner. I would suggest you render in the same quality as your camera records and with same number of frames to avoid audio lag. And don't render in wma. MP4 only with Mainconcept template in Vegas.

Thanks.. one question.. with sony vegas or reaper can you make the videos on HD or HQ?

Yep. Check out my Taylor GA7 test video in HD. Audio is little out of sync but that's because I didn't upload it to youtube in MP4 format but in WMA. From now on all my videos will be HD in MP4. This Halloween one was recorded with my old camera so it;s not HD.
