BTW, the Canadians can hold their heads up high. As can the Aussies, New Zealanders and everybody else who contributed to the war effort. 'Britain and her allies' won the day. The yanks were dragged into the war kicking and screaming and then take all the credit. You're very naughty nelly. Rather embarrassingly you might say, it was Hitler and the Japs who declared war on you. Russia should take most of the credit since they lost most lives and Britain only this year finished off paying the yanks back for their help. We had the highest post war debt in the world. So you should be thanking us!!
