On January 7, 2012, the Mass Bay Rail Enthusiasts chartered a photographers' special on the Conway Scenic Railroad from North Conway to Notchland and return featuring ex Canadian National 0-6-0 #7470. Titled "Steam in the Snow", the event featured runbys at various locations on the eastbound return featuring Notchland, Cobb Farm Road, Bartlett, Woodland Pines, and North Conway. Departing at 1030hrs, ex MEC GP7 #573 lead the train west to Notchland where it was cut off and returned light engine following the extra which was then being lead by the 7470. We catch both west and eastbound trains at various locations begining with 7470 emerging from the roundhouse at North Conway and ending with the runby at Woodland Pines.

Very nice video. Wish I could have made it this year. First year since they started doing steaming in the snow that I haven't been able to make it.
