A recently divorced, lonely shopping center security guard becomes paranoid at work when his reflections appear to be doing something different to reality, only to find they are not so different after all...

Unofficial Video - Made For The Radar Festival 2007.
This video was shot in one night in the Meadowhall shopping center in Sheffield with an actor called Andy Evans.
It was made on a budget of about £50 with a skeleton crew. Edited in Final Cut Pro and composited on After Effects.
For the modest budget, it was an ambitious idea, we were fortunate enough to use the location for nothing and have 100% co-operation and support of the shopping center. The security room footage at the end was filmed at a local TV studio, who have also been nothing but supportive.
I think we succeeded in creating our intended "vision", some parts could have worked better and been a little clearer but we have made a video we are very proud to show off, especially when people know of how little it cost to make.

Brilliant. How did u film on the mall without meadowhall security catching you, because they are very strict on filming and having photo's taken on the mall. Excellent work.

I asked very nicely for permission to film at night when no one was inside (except security) and amazingly, they let me do it!!!

Thanks for all the real positive feedback everyone! Unfortunately despite our hard work, dedication and blood, sweat and tears that went into the making of this under such a strict budget and resources we didn't get shortlisted for the competition.
We will be entering it again next year, wish us luck!
